Expert Drain were in Raheny Dublin 5 on the Northside of Dublin this week, attending to a blockage in the drainage system. The householder was complaining of a strong smell possibly coming from the sewer drain.

Our drain engineer lifted all the drain manhole covers to see if they could find a drain blockage or the cause of the home owners complaint. Having checked all the sewer drains but no issues were found so they proceeded to then lift all the rainwater manhole covers which were found to be completely blocked up.
With this type of blockage we would approach it with our high pressure water jetting equipment to clear it downstream to the property. After the blocked drain was cleared our engineers cleaned and disinfected the area and left it in a safe and tidy condition.
